Trick Number 1 – If it ain’t there, you CAN’T eat it. Take everything in your kitchen that is bad for you and throw it out or give it away. Eat something healthy to take the edge off your hunger before you leave the house to dine out. Every time. The second you leave your house for a social event you have limited control over what is served, and if you are meeting other people, when it is served. When I brought this information up in health circles, it would usually spark a lot of debate and some strong comments from dentists or dental health professionals. Most would admit, after a time, that the enamel of teeth could regenerate but that once a cavity was through the dentin (the layer under the enamel), it was impossible for it to heal without dental intervention.
